Calculations stay in your browser

Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. The dimensions you type, the materials you pick, the prices you enter and the results you get are not sent to any server and are not stored anywhere, by default.

You do not need an account, and you do not need to accept any cookies to use a calculator.

What we store, and only when you ask

Shared estimates

If you press “Create share link”, that estimate is saved so the link works. It stores the project type, the region, your inputs, the calculated result, any title you gave it, and the date. It is given a random, non-guessable address of 20 characters, which is around 100 bits of entropy — enumeration is not feasible.

Shared estimate pages carry noindex, nofollow so search engines do not list them. They are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Quote requests

If quote requests are enabled and you submit one, we store the contact details you entered, your postcode or ZIP code, the project type and a quantity summary, so suppliers can respond. Your dimensions and costs are not included. Lead form contents are never written to application logs.

Error reports

If you report a calculation error we store your description, the calculator, the region and — only if you provide it — an email address so we can follow up.

Analytics

Usage counting is deliberately narrow. An event records only the event name, which calculator, which region, and a coarse size band of small, medium or large. That is the complete list.

We do not send, and the endpoint will reject:

• Your dimensions or any measurement
• Any cost or price you entered
• Postcodes or ZIP codes
• Contact details
• Share link identifiers

No third-party analytics script receives your project data. If analytics is unavailable or blocked, nothing on the site stops working, because nothing depends on it.

Local storage

Your region and unit preference are stored in your browser’s local storage so you do not have to pick them again. This is a preference, not a tracker — it never leaves your device and clearing your browser data removes it.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If display advertising is enabled in future, it will be disclosed here and on the pages where it appears before it is turned on.

Deleting your data

• Shared estimates expire automatically. To remove one sooner, email the link to [email protected] and it will be revoked.
• Quote requests and error reports can be deleted on request to the same address.
• Preferences are removed by clearing site data in your browser.
